Key games this weekend for the Firsts and the Seconds, both hovering above the relegation zone.  The 1st X1 visited Croydon MO and failed to match the home side's 219 for 9, falling short by 47 runs.  On the Green the 2nd X1 maintained their recent form, snatching a win over Addiscome by just 7 runs, the last 7 wickets falling for 13 runs.

In their final league match of the season the 3rds lost to Purley by 2 wickets, and a 9 man 4th X1 beat Guildford by 12 runs to record their 10th win of the season.  David Morgan and StJohn Farley were the leasing scorers, with good contributions from Warren and Nick Darby, while Seurbah Soon took 5 for 47 in a close finish.

It should be recorded that when TD's oldest player pulled a hamstring in sprinting around the boundary, the Guildford skipper immediately sent out one of his players as a fielding substitute.  It is good to see that the old values can still apply in the combative atmosphere of league cricket.
